Kitchen Dining

Our kitchen is the heart of your farmhouse welcome with its banquette seating around the dining table, this is a great area for entertaining and cosy suppers with sutle overhead lighting. The cream painted kitchen with oak worktops and a large comfortable window seat looking out on the garden, is a lovely place to relax and see the amazing sunrises and colorful Boyne Valley  sunsets.

Irish handmade pottery dishes, tasteful glassware and fresh flowers from the garden are a great start to your Hideaway experience. Two high quality Neff ovens and an electric hob offer great flexibility to prepare tasty meals with great local produce. There is also an integrated fridge, dishwasher and TV/radio.

The pantry just of the kitchen has a second large refrigerator-freezer, coffee peculator, toaster, microwave, food mixer, bakeware and a second Belfast sink. This space is great for food preparation and dish washing when you want to hide the mess!

Welcome hampers are supplied to guests on arrival with local produce which includes coffee, tea, milk, bread, cheese, preserves, fruit and some treats. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.  

Hideaway has a small kitchen garden with raised vegetable beds which offers seasonal surprises, Please help yourselves.

Recycling facilities onsite

A washing machine and tumble dryer is located in the utility/cloakroom. Towels, linens and cleaning products supplied. We have a house keeping service please ask if required.

Restroom with shower and bath located on the ground floor.

Here is a cosy room off the kitchen and front hallway with a pretty cream woodburning stove and a old fashioned staircase.Its tastefully decorated comfortable seating and footstools is the ideal place to relax at the end of the day and put up your feet. There is also a Satelite TV, DVD and CD player and lots of great books to enjoy.Reclaimed oak floors throughout most of the ground floor gives the house its unique look. Its glass double doors leading to the kitchen allows the woodburning stove to be viewed from far.

THE DEN 'downstairs'                                                                                                                                  One 5ft bed plus one single bed,  woodburning stove, hairdryer, TV/radio, bathrobe, slippers and  no ensuite. There is a bathroom on the ground floor with shower.

 

THE COOP 'upstairs'                                                                                                                                             One 5ft bed plus one single bed,  shower ensuite, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers and TV/radio.

 

THE PINK SNUG 'upstairs'                                                                                                                                    One double bed with shower ensuite, bathrobe, slippers and TV/radio.

The farmhouse sleeps up to eight sharing.

All towels and linens provided.
